Coloured asphalt is a technology new for Russia, as if specially devised for Saint-Petersburg – the city, in which almost every house of the historical centre is a work of art. Squares and streets paved with coloured asphalt underline the beauty of monuments of architecture.
Contrast properties of coloured asphalt contribute to safety of traffic, facilitate "reading" of road marking, especially near schools and kinder gardens. The material enhances illumination in tunnels and at ramps, helps orienting at exits from highways and at territories of gas stations, does not let us lose public transport stops, parking lots, bicycle lanes, pedestrian zones, emergency exits in the territories of the industrial enterprises.
Coloured asphalt is especially effectively applied on runways, territories of seaports and cargo terminals.
One can judge the quality of coloured asphalt by NCC Roads on our objects, the first of which became the area in front of the Catherine's palace in Pushkin (Memorial estate Tsarskoe Selo).
For Many years the gilding of the gate and the blue facade of the palace had been underlined by paths red by the crashed brick. However part of the brick sand, "travelling" on footwear of visitors, would get to the palace parquet, destroying it, therefore the decision was made to replace the brick sand with up-to-date red asphalt.
This project became the business card of NCC Roads.
All products of NCC Roads are released under supervision of our lab.
