THE ROADS WE CHOOSE

According to the national program "Russian Roads of the XXI-st century», by 2010 the total stretch of motor roads in Russia will increase up to 670 thousand kilometres, i.e. approximately by 90 thousand kilometres, and of multilane highways - from 4,3 thousand to 8 thousand kilometres. A special attention in this program is drawn to the highways included into international transport corridors, including Saint-Petersburg – Finland, as well as to transit roads, which take the traffic away from big cities. Thus, Saint-Petersburg road constructors are to organize the highway system not conceding by technical characteristics to the best European examples.
 
In this context, our experience – that of the Russian branch of the largest North European holding - can be unique. We have adapted asphalt-concrete mixes and the paving technologies applied in Scandinavian countries similar by climatic conditions for their use in road construction of Saint-Petersburg.
All kinds of road construction works carried out by NCC Roads are performed using the opportunities of our own quality assurance lab.
 
All asphalt paving jobs are complied according to the requirements of Construction Strandards and Regulations (SNiP), regulations of labour safety and environmental safety are observed. The quality of our asphalt-concrete mix corresponds to the state standard. NCC Roads has been certified for quality management system under ISO 9001 standard and environmental management system under ISO 14001 standard for the whole range of road works.
Warranty for industrial works performed by NCC Roads – up to 8 years.
 
The whole range of works is carried out by NCC Roads’ own means, which allows to monitor the process of works and quality of their performance. Activity of the company has been licensed for the whole territory of Russia by Russian Federation Construction Committee.
